This page is translated and adapted from official ROZ Taiwan (TWRoZ) patch notes. Ragnarok Zero Global is a separate release, currently in Open Beta— NPC locations, exact rewards, and mechanics may differ once it fully launches. We'll correct this guide as Global's real behavior becomes clear.

NPC locations especially: on Ragnarok Zero Global Open Beta 2, Lucy doesn't exist at all — she isn't at Prontera's Kingdom Guild Recruitment Station as shown below, or anywhere else yet. The MVP hunting quest instead runs through NPC Yakt inside the Eden Group hub. Treat every /navi coordinate on this page as a TWRoZ reference only until Global fully launches and we can confirm the real locations.

MVP System — Ruler of the Territory

Paradise's territorial rulers — the MVPs— stand as the peak of the game's difficulty, and keep growing stronger alongside every future version update. Dedicated habitats, hunting quests, and MVP-exclusive equipment bonuses make them the endgame's central pillar.

Exclusive Habitats

In Paradise, MVPs have their own dedicated habitats, split into two categories. The map layout is identical to the regular version of the map, but with no death penalty — adventurers can challenge the MVP as many times as they want and keep stacking clear experience.

General Habitat

Only the MVP spawns here — suitable for any adventurer to attack together.

PK Habitat

PK is enabled here — recommended to attack as a guild or alliance unit.

Teleport point colors — red: “To General Habitat” · gold: “To PK Habitat” · white: “To Original Map”.

Hunting Quest — NPC Yakt

Confirmed on Ragnarok Zero Global — there is no Lucy NPC, this replaces her entirely

Take the hunting quest beforehand from NPC Yakt in Eden Group, kill the MVP, then come back and turn it in with the same NPC.

A "Combat Doll Judge" NPC is also visible nearby in Eden Group in the screenshot below — likely the Global equivalent of "Battle Doll Judge Rex" from the Battle Doll tab further down this page (separate from the MVP quest, handles Battle Doll redemption instead). Treat the Prontera 260,268 location given for Rex as TWRoZ-only until that's separately confirmed.

The box you get matches whichever MVP the quest was for — kill Golden Thief Bug and turn the quest in with Yakt, get the Golden Thief Bug box; kill Moonlight Flower, get the Moonlight Flower box; and so on for every MVP. Two examples:

[Moonlight Flower] Subjugation Reward Box (Standard)

A Deluxe box exists for every MVP, following the same Standard/Deluxe split as the TWRoZ source's General/Premium boxes — e.g. Moonlight Flower Deluxe. Deluxe rolls noticeably more Blacksmith's Blessing and Blessing of Yggdrasil than Standard, based on the confirmed Golden Thief Bug drop above.

Separately, "[Golden ThiefBug] Energy Fragment" (and the equivalent per-MVP fragment) also drops directly during the fight — confirmed from an in-game screenshot at Prontera Sewer 4F, obtainable by anyone present, not just the questor. These fragments can be exchanged for Blacksmith's Blessing.

Worth prioritizing:between the reward boxes and Energy Fragment exchanges, MVP raids are a genuinely efficient way to farm Blacksmith's Blessing — not just a MVP-drop-hunting activity, but a real Blessing source.

How Rewards Work

General mechanic, TWRoZ source — the specific box names differ on Global (see the Standard/Deluxe boxes above).

Whoever gets the MVP kill credit

Can loot the “Hunting Reward Box (Premium)” dropped when the MVP dies.

Whoever completes the hunting quest

Turns in the completed hunt to the quest NPC for the “Hunting Reward Box (General)”. Party members must land the killing blow while simultaneously staying within the MVP's line of sight and remaining alive — both conditions are required.

Everyone inside the habitat

“[MVP] Essence” drops at random anywhere on the map, and anyone present can pick it up — about 100 in a General Habitat, about 300 in a PK Habitat.

Other Exclusive Settings

Sinister dolls are scattered across the world of RO: Paradise. Defeat certain designated monsters to obtain one, then bring it to Battle Doll Judge Rex once per day per character for a rich reward — the doll itself is never consumed.

On Ragnarok Zero Global, this NPC likely appears as Combat Doll Judge in Eden Group instead — see the Global callout above, in the Hunting Quest section.

Only one doll type can be redeemed per day. Dolls are storage-safe but not tradable — holding more of the same doll improves your odds at a stronger reward. Regular Battle Dolls and MVP Battle Dolls each roll from separate reward lists.
