Mastering AoE Leveling & Infinite SP Storm Gust in Ragnarok Zero
Build Overview
Wizards in Ragnarok Zero are the fastest levelers in the game if played correctly. The "Zero Meta" focuses on Storm Gust (暴風雪) for crowd control and Heaven's Drive (地裂術) for massive earth damage. Just like the Knight, a Wizard's efficiency is tied to SP management, but with a focus on Soul Drain (靈魂抽取) thresholds.
Recommended Stats (Level 99)
Pure damage and SP pool. Mandatory for Soul Drain efficiency.
Cast time reduction. In Zero, you need to cast faster than mobs can reach you.
Essential for surviving accidental mob pulls in high-level dungeons.
Minor MATK boost, but usually not prioritized over VIT.
Core Skills
Storm Gust (Lv. 10)
Your primary farming and CC tool. In Zero, the freeze rate is essential for safety.
Lord of Vermilion (Lv. 10)
The best skill for clearing Water-element maps (like Izlude Dungeon 4).

Paradise Upgrade Path
- Eden Staff III (樂園團長杖 III): The primary MATK source for beginners. Upgrade with Variable Cast Reduction stones.
- Shadow Wizard Armor (影子巫師鎧甲): Part of the Zero Shadow Set. Increases Storm Gust and Lord of Vermilion damage.
- Shadow Wizard Shoes (影子巫師戰靴): Reduces the cast time of AoE spells when worn with the Armor.
MATK & Survival
- Survivor's Rod [1]: High-end choice for survivability. Pair with the Survivor's Manteau.
- Mage Coat [1]: Found in early Zero dungeons. Provides much needed INT and MDEF.
- 2x Earring [1]: Carded with Elder Willow or Isilla Cards for MATK and cast speed.
For maximum efficiency, calculate your MATK so that your Heaven's Drive one-shots Wolfs or Orc Warriors. This drastically speeds up your early Zeny farming by allowing you to clear entire screens in seconds.
